In 2003, a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon debuted. Most kids that watched the original cartoon were now in college, and ready to fully embrace the nostalgia. Much like in the ’80s and ’90s, this cartoon series spawned action figures, merchandise, toys, and a variety of other items.
Here is the third part of my Ninja Turtles collection, which is a video and images featuring items specifically from the 2003 cartoon series:
I might have went a little overboard when the 2003 cartoon was on. I would literally buy almost any Turtles item that I saw in a store, so I ended up with some crazy stuff. The top part of the main display in these pictures has everything from pencils to toothpaste. The shelves mostly have coloring books, puzzle books, and various games.
I bought most of the popular vehicles and accessories as well, including the Sewer Lair, Shell Cycle, and Battle Shell.
Since I was older when this cartoon debuted, I was only collecting action figures, and no longer playing with them. So, I decided right from the beginning that I would keep all of the action figures that I bought in their packaging. Much like with the original cartoon, they not only produced the characters on the show, but also different variations of the characters. This included every possible version of the Turtles that anyone could think of.
